Wow...Wow! So different from what I've seen of your work, but it has punch! It appeals to my inner being and says "it is not ours alone" louder than the words. Love it!
This is an arresting piece. When I saw it on Rima's wall I took it as a comment on the selfishness of Western societies who consume most of the earth's resources, and the innoccent, powerless people on the other side of the world who pay the price. It also has an apocalyptic feeling of an almost empty city, after perhaps some environmental catastrophe. You have got me thinking here!
Hey Faz, just dropping in to say I heard through the grapevine that you got a new camera. Congratulations! And no fair keeping all your masterpieces to yourself. Get sharing again! =)
I got the Camera about 2 weeks ago and have not had the chance to play with it since honest! I have been so busy at work and when the weekend comes around all I want to do is sleep out and putter around. I should get my act together but I am getting OLD!!!
Thank you all for your comments about this digicollage by the way. I will be back soon :-)
Work. Stinky ol' work. It's important though. Still, hope you find some time to paint and to take pictures in the near future. Oh yeah, and to post them here to share with us, too =)
Art is my outlet. I play with all media; revere none of them, but love all of them and worship colour only. The rest? It's visual, better see it than read about it!
