The best of 2007
It has been a long time since I posted to this blog. No I have not given up on painting. Not at all. Since I gave up my office at home, it has been very difficult to find the space to paint and the outdoors have been bland of late.
So to reactivate things a bit and get this blog oiled up and running again, I thought I would let the readers vote for the best effort of 2007. Please vote (see poll to the right) and thank you for visiting my blog. I promise you new works in the new year. Meanwhile please visit my new photography blog here: http://photozan.blogspot.com/.

All the paintings you have posted are exceptional, in my opinion. My own personal favourite was #4. Reminded me of a spot I used to go to when I fished for brook trout a number of years ago. Great work.
I enjoyed viewing each and every one of these pictures. I voted for #3 but could have just as easily voted for #2 :) I love the tea and lemon and I could just sit down and have a cup right now :) Your photography will only enhance your artistic abilities and give you fodder for your (art) mill.
I hated choosing! I remember enjoying all of those as they came across the blogosphere fresh from the field.
I had to go with the black cows on the hill. I am partial to vivid colors.
I can't decide between 2 and 4. They are completely different and each has something special I LOVE the movement in 4. I love the colours and the enticement of the cup of tea.
I like your landscapes particularly, but 2 and 4 are out of your usual mould so I vote for both. Or would if your vote thing let me!
4 and then 8.
4 is just splendid and places me there. I can hear a Canada Warbler singing in the early summer splendor and am ready to dip my hands in the cool stream.
Mabrouk ur new blog. photography, eh? U r full of surprises. what next?
Sorry babes, but you've been tagged (ur wife's game!). go to my blog for details.

Halaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! You can't do that to me I have already been tagged this week by Debi! Ok just for you I will do this bloody game one more time.
Anyone else and I would have ignored it, but for you....
LOVE your watercolors so so much. I loved # 2 and 8 if I had to choose.
Zan, though I missed the poll, I wanted you to know that my favorite has to be #10. And I noticed that noone voted for it, so now it is getting it's due. I also liked #2.
