Tagged Again!
Hala, my dear sister-in-law-nephew's-wife-to-be-exact, 'tagged' me! So for the second time this week I have to write 5 weird or random things about me on my blog and then tag 5 other bloggers!
Gonna do the first, but I won't perpetuate this chain mail sorry! I've already told Debbie who tagged me before (Grrrrrr) that I can't stand these chain-mails that go around the web. I know I know I am a bore, but I just can't do it.
So here we go:
1- When I was 10, I ran away from school and walked from Brummana to Beirut (6 hrs)
2- I was almost kidnapped by the Syrian Mukhabarat when I lived in Lebanon
3- I am probably one of the few men in North America who see cars as a means of transportation only.
4- I have seen the northern lights
5- I have been through a desert sand storm.

LOL. Sorry Zan! I had no idea before I tagged you.
Still. It was so fun to read yours. Are you really very truly sincerely sure that you hate them? You are rather good at them, having experienced so many interesting things in your life. (Sometimes like the old Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times.")
I love reading your responses. So much interest in your life and so this silly game is how we share, instead of staying "nice weather today".
I'm glad you were not kidnapped and made it through and are able to make your beautiful art, like this picture of this homey little cabin. I've seen the northern lights too and would like to again some day.
You are right for one time in your life, love! You ARE a bore, AND an old fart to boot, hehe! C'mon, where else would you have a chance to write: "I was almost kidnapped" and not lie?
